“With Captain Extraordinary Kathy and Howard have created a wonderfully rich world in which a writer can really have fun! As well as the brilliantly conceived universe with so many possibilities, it’s also got that key ingredient to a great franchise: characters that are real and identifiable. No one in the Captain Extraordinary universe is a cardboard cut-out.They have back story, feelings, needs, wants and thus motivation.”

“What we love to do is brand our client’s projects with unique audio themes. We believe that if a viewer is channel-hopping they should be able to identify a programme solely by the music created for it.
We achieve this in a variety of ways but usually it involves making specific choices about instruments and compositional styling.
Once we form a concept, a musical colour palette if you like, we stick to it through thick and thin. After all, you tend not to have 4 directors and 11 editors on a show, and if you want kitchen sink music you might as well use library. The music is composed in ‘The Crows Nest’. Once the music is signed off it’s then mixed in our second studio ‘Parasol City’. The mixed music is then sent off to Hafod Mastering for final sweetening. Think of this as our ‘Offline’, ‘Online’ & ‘Grading’ of the music.”
