Yesterday saw our second outing for the Child Friendly Networking project. A small friendly group of parents working within their own businesses met up at Fizzy Lizard in Huddersfield, not just to share business cards – but ideas, experience, support and advice.

Last weekend saw the big charity game hosted by HTAFC in support of one of our favourite local charities The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
We’ve done a few odds and ends for them recently, and we enjoy sounding-off on Twitter about what a great job they do. At a recent MY Network meeting we were chatting with Kate Goldring about how we could help with the big day.

Having seen the work that we did in support of Geoff Shepherd from The Yorkshire Mafia, we were approached by another Geoff (there’s a lot of ‘em about apparently) with a request to do a similar cartoon for his dare-devil fund-raising projects.

Last week we attended the seminar at RAI Saviles Hall in my hometown of Leeds. We were there in three separate capacities- firstly as Rushfirth Creative, secondly on behalf of The Yorkshire Mafia who were good enough to invite us in the first place, and thirdly as STEPteam- our enterprise education programme aimed at secondary schools.
